JustUpdateOnline.com – Tangerang Selatan, The Indonesian entertainment industry is once again facing a scandal as actor Revaldo Fifaldi was taken into custody by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit. The arrest occurred at an apartment complex located in the Pondok Aren district of South Tangerang on Monday afternoon, around 5:30 PM local time.
The police intervention was initiated following reports from the community regarding suspicious transactions occurring within the residential building on Jalan Bintaro Utama. Police Commissioner Nasriadi confirmed that law enforcement acted on this intelligence to monitor the area, eventually identifying a suspect whose description matched the information provided by citizens.
According to official statements, the actor was intercepted by officers while he was allegedly involved in a narcotics transaction. Upon conducting a thorough search of the premises, investigators uncovered a variety of illicit items and drug paraphernalia. The evidence seized included three small plastic clips containing methamphetamine residue, three smoking devices (bongs), and several pipettes.
Furthermore, authorities discovered pharmaceutical substances, specifically half a tablet of Xanax and half a tablet of Alprazolam. A mobile phone belonging to the actor was also recovered, which had been hidden inside a shoe rack within the apartment. Following the discovery, Revaldo was transported to the West Jakarta Police headquarters for further interrogation and processing.
Subsequent medical examinations confirmed the actor’s involvement with illegal substances. Police Commissioner Nasriadi noted that a urine analysis returned positive results for both narcotics and psychotropic drugs. AKP Wisnu Wirawan, representing the West Jakarta Metro Police, emphasized that the investigation is ongoing as officials look deeper into the circumstances surrounding the case.
This latest legal trouble adds to a long history of drug-related offenses for Revaldo. His first major run-in with the law occurred in 2006, leading to a two-year prison term. This was followed by a more severe arrest in 2010 involving 62 grams of methamphetamine. Despite previously voicing his regret over his past lifestyle, the actor was also detained in early 2023 for similar allegations, making this recent arrest a recurring pattern in his public life.
